Stage Camp by SRT Centre for Creative Learning 

Not all trolls love grumping and grunting! What if one little troll just wanted to make friends, sing songs or paint pictures instead of scaring goats? 

This September, your 4 to 7 year olds will meet a young troll who is not like the others – and help him find his place in the big wide world beyond the bridge. Through playful drama games, storytelling and imaginative adventures, young performers will explore big ideas like kindness, being yourself and finding the courage to stand out. 

Stage Camp by SRT Centre for Creative Learning is a devising-based programme that takes on a child-centred, process-first approach leading up to an informal stage showcase on the final day.  

Together with an experienced teaching artist, your young actor(s) will explore the following skills and key competencies…  

• Communication & Collaboration: Express and share ideas while promoting active listening to others, fostering an environment of mutual respect. 
• Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Encourage the recognition of various emotions and exploring ways to express them effectively. 
• Kindness & Being Yourself: Discover the value of kindness and the courage to be different through playful activities and storytelling.
