The Great Story Expedition invites young adventurers to journey through some of literature’s most beloved tales - from daring pirates and mysterious jungles to whimsical rabbit holes and magical islands. This June, words become worlds, sentences spark surprises, and every page holds a doorway to imagination.
Through teamwork, bold expression, and inventive storytelling, children will step inside the pages, transform into unforgettable characters, and add their own unique twists to these timeless adventures. The camp culminates in a lively showcase, where every camper will proudly share their story world with flair, fun, and fearless imagination!
Stage Camp by SRT Centre for Creative Learning is a devising-based programme that takes on a child-centred, process-first approach leading up to an informal stage showcase on the final day.

Week 1: The Jungle Book
Enter the jungle, where survival and trust are tested at every turn. Following Mowgli’s journey, campers will wrestle with questions of independence, loyalty, and bravery, exploring how choices shape identity and relationships. Through ensemble storytelling and character-driven drama, they’ll investigate what it means to belong, to make choices that matter, and to find their own place in a complex world.

Week 2: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Step into Wonderland, where nothing is as it seems and every encounter sparks a puzzle to solve. Campers will navigate strange rules, eccentric characters, and unpredictable challenges, exploring themes of identity, perspective, and resilience. They’ll discover how curiosity can be a guide, and imagination a tool for understanding even the most bewildering worlds.

Week 3: Peter Pan
Soar into Neverland, a place where freedom meets responsibility, and adventure tests the limits of loyalty and courage. Young actors will examine the tension between childhood innocence and growing up, confronting challenges that require trust, strategy, and self-reflection. Through ensemble storytelling and dramatic role-play, they’ll explore leadership, moral choices, and what it truly means to fight for what you believe in - even in a world where the rules are not always clear.

Week 4: The Adventure of Pinocchio
Step into Pinocchio’s world, where every choice carries weight and every mistake is a lesson to be discovered. Journey alongside the puppet as he encounters temptations, adventures, and unexpected dilemmas, learning how honesty, courage, and responsibility shape who we become. Experience how growing up is as much about finding inner strength as it is about embracing daring adventures.
