Centre for Creative Learning

Singapore Repertory Theatre is proud to launch the Centre for Creative Learning for children, youth, and adults, as a further development of the learning and engagement programmes that we have delivered over the past decades. This initiative will be built upon a bedrock of 21st century learning skills to enhance critical thinking, communication, storytelling, and creativity in the community.

Our Centre for Creative Learning is committed to bringing meaningful and relevant programmes to students, teachers and emerging theatre talents. We believe theatre has the power to engage and transform. We are collaborating with leading artists and educators in Singapore and around the world to provide inquiry based and experiential learning for young people, skill development in drama as pedagogy for educators and mentorship for emerging talents and on-going skill building for various industries.

Children

SRT's Centre for Creative Learning organises its Stage Camp four times a year, providing young people of all ages to explore their creativity, learn performance skills and to step into the spotlight.

Young Adults

SRT provides a wide range of opportunities for young adults to get involved in the theatre, ranging from residency programmes to The Young Company writing and acting programmes.

Professionals

Wolf Trap

Singapore Repertory Theatre is Wolf Trap’s 20th affiliate organisation. The programme pairs active arts-based learning experiences for children with powerful, effective professional development for early childhood educators.
