  • Gecko comes to Singapore

This May, Singapore Repertory Theatre is excited to welcome our collaboration with Gecko! Founded in 2001, Gecko is an award winning, internationally acclaimed physical theatre company, led by their Artistic Director, Amit Lahav. Beyond the stage, Gecko aspires to open the doors on their process through every possible avenue, be it digitally, through workshops or forming one-to-one relationships with their audience. Gecko’s education and outreach is a key area of the company’s work, whose workshops are led by their highly experienced company members that are both well-versed as workshop practitioners and devising performers.

    Gecko for Teachers

In this professional development workshop, teachers will be able to let their hair down and get their thinking hats on while learning about Gecko’s physical theatre style. Teachers will also have the rare opportunity to gain insight into Gecko’s devising process and how they can be tailored to suit their student’s needs. No prior experience necessary.
