FAQs – A Night of Dining & Drama at Fried Rice Paradise – The Makan Party

Curious about the menu, seating or what to expect? Discover all you need to know about Singapore’s most deliciously entertaining dinner theatre experience.
What’s on the menu?
Expect a four-course celebration of Singapore’s iconic flavours – each dish served two ways by sisters Nancy and Fancy.
One pays homage to tradition, the other pushes boundaries. Classic or contemporary, which will steal your heart (and taste buds)? You decide.

Do you cater for dietary restrictions?
The menu includes nuts, dairy, and shellfish, and does not contain pork or lard. There is a vegetarian option. We regret that we are unable to accommodate other specific dietary requirements or allergens.
Is the food spicy?
Some dishes will have a mild spice level, but nothing too fiery! We’ve designed the menu to be flavourful and enjoyable for most palates.
Is the food halal-certified?
The food is not halal-certified, but it does not contain pork or lard.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes, you're welcome to bring your own bottle of wine. A corkage fee of $50 nett per bottle applies and can be settled at the bar upon arrival.
How many seats are there per table?
Each table seats 10 guests. If you're booking as a group, we recommend securing your tickets early to ensure your party can be seated together at the same table.
Any group promotions?
Yes! Enjoy a 10% discount when you book 10 tickets in a single transaction – perfect for celebrating with colleagues, friends, or family over an unforgettable evening of food and theatre.
Are the seats assigned?
Seating is first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving early to soak in the atmosphere, enjoy a pre-show drink at the bar, and secure your preferred spot at the table.
Can I take photos or videos?
Absolutely – we love it when guests capture the experience! That said, we encourage you to be fully present and enjoy the show without seeing it entirely through your screen.
But phones only, please. Professional cameras, DSLRs, and tripods are not permitted.
