Synopsis
Get entangled in the enchanting story of a pig named Wilbur and his unlikely friendship with a clever barn spider named Charlotte.
When Wilbur’s life is in danger, Charlotte proves to be a true friend by coming to his rescue and hatches a plan that will change everything. Using her web-spinning skills and quick wit, she writes messages that turn the little pig into a farmyard hero loved by all.
Charlotte’s Web is a tender and uplifting story about friendship, courage and the power of kindness. Gather the whole family and experience this timeless classic live on stage.
Based on E.B. White’s beloved book and adapted by Joseph Robinette, this faithful and thrilling stage version captures all the magic, humour and heart that have made Charlotte’s Web one of the most treasured stories of all time.

Tia Andrea Guttensohn as Charlotte
Tia is a multicultural actor, educator and entrepreneur. Being Singaporean and Austrian and having grown up in Singapore, Switzerland and Hong Kong, she finds a piece of home wherever she goes. Tia trained at LASALLE College of the Arts, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Acting. Her theatre credits include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (SRT), Muswell Hill (Pangdemonium) and Animal Farm (Wild Rice). You might recognise her as Gretel too in Gretel and Hansel (SRT's The Little Company).
Tia recently returned from the United Kingdom, where she completed an MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths, University of London. Whilst there, she led an open-access youth club, honed her skills as a professional quiz master and launched Mulch Workshops: a social enterprise affirming multicultural identity in young people (coming to Singapore soon!). Having roller-bladed and scuba-dived in performances before, Tia is delighted that Charlotte finally lets her take to the air.

Sofie Buligis as Wilbur
Sofie is a Singapore-based theatre-maker, producer and arts educator. Sofie is no stranger to theatre for young audiences, having worked with the likes of SRT's The Little Company in Fly High and The Cat in The Hat, Hantu Kaki Kotor (Teater Ekamatra) and The Travelling Star (Esplanade PLAYLab). Her most recent work includes her playwriting debut Celup, a one-woman show commissioned for the Singapore Fringe.
At the heart of Sofie’s work is her advocacy for marginalised groups and courage to break glass ceilings, carrying others through with her. When not in the theatre, Sofie can be found sharing her love for drama, song and dance with little ones at Wild Rice and Centre Stage, where she works as a teaching artist. She is thrilled to be a part of Charlotte’s Web!

Dwayne Lau as Narrator / Gander
Dwayne is no stranger to theatre for young audiences. His stage credits with SRT's The Little Company include Treasure Island, Chicken Little and the previous run of Charlotte’s Web. He has also appeared in numerous Wild Rice year-end pantomimes, taking on a wide range of roles in productions such as The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan in Serangoon Gardens, and Pinocchio.
Other notable stage credits include Animal Farm, Hotel (Wild Rice); Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress (SRT), showcasing his versatility across both family-friendly and large-scale theatrical works.
As a writer, Dwayne has penned several sold-out children’s musicals, including The Amazing Celestial Race and Momotaro and the Magnificent Peach, both of which were warmly received by audiences.
He is thrilled to be part of this reprise and excited to return to a story that continues to delight generations of theatre-goers.

Dennis Sofian as Templeton / Lurvy
Dennis is an actor, host and voiceover artist who plays the violin and freestyle raps.
Some of his Singapore stage credits include The Cat in the Hat (SRT's The Little Company); Shakespeare in the Park - A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (SRT) as well as An Inspector Calls, Tartuffe and Bull (Wild Rice) and Fat Kids Are Harder to Kidnap (How Drama).
Internationally, Dennis has performed in Mail Ordered across Canada in the Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and Vancouver Fringe Festivals (Winner of Pick of the Fringe and in The Caucasian Chalk Circle with Engineer Theatre in London.
He has also performed his freestyle raps at events such as Singapore Night Festival 2025 and Somerset Graff Jam Vol 3. Give him a word and a beat and he’ll bring the heat!
Dennis trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Suhaili Safari as Fern / Goose
Suhaili Safari is a Singapore-based transdisciplinary artist whose practice spans theatre, movement, writing and music. Since her debut in 2005, she has performed in over 30 productions locally and internationally. Her theatre credits include Inside Voices (Lazy Native), which won Best Outstanding Work at the Vault Festival in London, Medea (Cake Theatre), A Clockwork Orange (Teater Ekamatra), Animal Farm (Wild Rice) and Air (Drama Box).
In 2023, her solo work Kepaten Obor: Igniting a Withered Torch received a nomination for Best Original Script at the ST Life Theatre Awards. She actively engages with Singapore’s independent arts community, collaborating on devised and movement-based works, most recently in She Isn’t Here with choreographer Dapheny Chen at the National Gallery Singapore.
Across her practice, Suhaili integrates multiple art forms, moving fluidly between narrative, sound and physical expression, while continuing to perform in contemporary and children’s theatre.

Benjamin Koh as Homer / Sheep
Benjamin (Ben) is a dynamic and versatile performer acclaimed for his dedicated physical work and compelling stage presence. Show credits include: Shakespeare in the Park - Macbeth (SRT), Little Shop of Horrors (Sing’Theatre), Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (Wild Rice) and Four Horse Road (The Theatre Practice).
Trained in physical storytelling, musical theatre and clowning, Ben is committed to integrating these skills, alongside stunts and historical martial arts, into his acting craft. Off-stage, his interests in flow arts, fitness, and reading actively inform and inspire his creative practice.

His most recent nomination was Best Director in 2023 for The Almighty Sometimes (SRT) and Best Actor in 2025 For Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Pangdemonium).
Daniel Wong Composer
Daniel Wong is a sound designer, composer and music producer. He graduated from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music with a B.Mus (Hons) in Recording Arts & Science.
Theatre credits include Singapore, Michigan, Doubt: A Parable, People Places & Things, Muswell Hill (Pangdemonium); Disgraced, 2:22 - A Ghost Story, The Almighty Sometimes, Tuesdays with Morrie (SRT); Brainstorm, Every Brilliant Thing, I And You (Gateway Arts) and G*d is a Woman, Cafe (Wild Rice).

Guo Ningru Sound Designer
Ningru was awarded the Singapore National Arts Council’s Young Artist Award (2022), recognising her achievements and contributions to the local and international arts scene.
She was also a recipient of the Singapore National Arts Scholarship by the National Arts Council (2016), and graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts in Sound Design from the esteemed Sound Design programme in the University of California Irvine.
Over the past decade, Ningru has designed sound for numerous plays, musicals and performances. She particularly enjoys exploring immersive audio for theatrical performances. Her MFA thesis, Going Immersive - Spatial Audio for Theatre, details the current technologies and methods for sound designers to utilize spatial audio in theatrical performances.
Recent works include All The World’s A Sea (The Theatre Practice); Threads: The Emperor’s New Clothes Musical (SRT’s The Little Company) and Strangely Familiar (T.H.E. Dance Company).
