The Curious Adventures of Nila: The Great Rescue

From 6 Mar 2027 | Victoria Theatre

Gather the whole family and follow Nila into the forests of Singapura on a very important rescue mission!

In Kampung Sungei, Nila can hardly wait for the annual River Festival, where the village is set to enjoy a night of singing, dancing and feasting under the bright moon. But in the middle of the night, a mysterious creature arrives, leaving a trail of mess behind. Even worse, Clucky’s precious eggs have disappeared!

Convinced that the creature has taken them, Nila sets off into the jungle with Clucky and Otto the Otter to bring the eggs home. Along the way, they meet Milo the Monkey, get hopelessly lost and come face to face with the creature everyone believes is the Great Lion.

But the forest is full of surprises, and Nila soon discovers that sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is put aside your fear, listen and try to understand someone who seems different from you.

Filled with catchy songs, plenty of laughs and an exciting journey through the forests of old Singapura, The Curious Adventures of Nila: The Great Rescue is a new musical about courage, friendship and looking beyond first impressions. Don’t miss this brand-new homegrown story created for young audiences and their families.
