“A beautiful, eloquent, dazzlingly inventive show about the wonders of life.” Evening Standard

SINGAPORE PREMIERE OF THE NATIONAL THEATRE’S OLIVIER AND TONY AWARD-WINNING PRODUCTION, JOINTLY PRESENTED BY SINGAPORE REPERTORY THEATRE AND ESPLANADE – THEATRES ON THE BAY.
“It's a story about difference, about being an outsider, about seeing the world in a surprising and revealing way.” - Mark Haddon
In Singapore for the first time, the National Theatre stages its acclaimed production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, the winner of five Tony Awards and seven Olivier Awards, including Best Play, Best Director and Best Design. Tony Award-winner Marianne Elliott (War Horse) directs this “triumphant” (Sunday Telegraph) adaptation by two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens who brings Mark Haddon’s internationally best-selling novel to life on stage.

Fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone has an extraordinary brain, is exceptional at math, but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road. He detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. When Christopher falls under suspicion for killing his neighbour’s dog, his detective work to identify the true culprit takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.

Hailed as “a phenomenal combination of storytelling and spectacle” by The TimesThe Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a theatrical experience not to be missed.
